Verified Credentials and Accreditations
In addition to the International Standards for Quality, Safety and Environmental management systems our team includes Chartered Engineers with Engineers Australia, Project Management Professionals certified by the Project Management Institute, and registered building certifiers with NSW Fair Trading. We are also members of the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors' Association (AMCA) and Business NSW.
For builders, facility managers and government clients, these credentials mean independently verified systems for quality, safety and environmental management, and qualified professionals overseeing every stage of your project.

Quality Management. Consistent processes for design, estimating, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover, so every project is delivered to specification and properly documented
Environmental Management. Controls for refrigerant handling, waste, recycling and energy efficiency, helping clients meet their own sustainability and reporting obligations.
Occupational Health & Safety. A systematic approach to identifying and controlling hazards on site and in the workshop, including high-risk work such as working at heights, crane lifts and plant room access.
Our projects are led and checked by people who hold recognised professional credentials through the Project Management Institute - the globally recognised standard in project management. It means structured planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management and communication with builders and stakeholders from award to handover.
Engineers Australia – Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng). Our engineering team includes Chartered Engineers, the highest professional standard for engineers in Australia. Chartered status requires demonstrated competence, a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to Engineers Australia's Code of Ethics. It gives clients confidence in our mechanical design, value engineering and compliance with the National Construction Code and relevant Australian Standards.
Our team includes a building certifier registered with NSW Fair Trading under the Building and Development Certifiers Act 2018. This in-house expertise means compliance requirements are considered early in design and documentation, reducing the risk of delays at certification.

Awards & Recognition
Climax Air Conditioning won two awards at the 2026 Shoalhaven Business Chamber Awards: Excellence in Medium Business and Outstanding Employee. Over more than 35 years, Climax has grown from its beginnings in the Shoalhaven into a team of more than 65 people, delivering commercial air conditioning and mechanical services projects across the Shoalhaven, Illawarra and Sydney.
The judging process included a detailed written submission and finalist interview, assessing not only the work we deliver but the people, culture, systems and values behind it. These awards belong to our whole team, and we thank the clients, suppliers and industry partners who have been part of our story.

Our commercial projects are led by project managers with a wealth of experience. They are supported via certified Project Management Professionals (PMP). Each project has a dedicated project manager from award through to handover.
Yes. Climax Air is a member of the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors' Association (AMCA) and Business NSW.
We also undertake regular industry training with the Australian Institute of Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH).
