Climax Air Conditioning have been engaged by Wollongong City Council, as the principal contractor to undertake the complete HVAC refurbishment in the IPAC (Illawarra Performing Arts).

This includes the replacement of the existing heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, installation of new smoke management systems, with upgrades to fire detection and fire suppression systems. All of this needs to be completed within a 3 month shut down period.

As part of the planning phase Climax completed 3D scanning and created a full as built model of existing building and services, This enabled us to model the new systems in the existing building and be confident the new equipment will fit without having to continuously return to site to check measurements.
