Harrington Park Public School - Facilities Upgrade

Project Overview

Harrington Park Public School was a 4-stage infrastructure upgrade project in partnership with Grindley Construction. As part of this initiative, Climax Air Conditioning was entrusted with the critical task of designing and installing state-of-the-art HVAC systems for both new and existing school buildings.

The completion of this project has marked the beginning of a new era for Harrington Park Public School. This era includes the addition of brand-new classrooms, the introduction of versatile learning spaces, and the upgrade of core facilities to accommodate an additional 184 students. Furthermore, it involved the refurbishment of two existing buildings and the construction of three new structures, which encompass 21 flexible learning spaces, a new hall and canteen facilities, and a modern administration and library block.

Our comprehensive mechanical services package encompassed a wide array of components, including ducted units, cassette units, and split systems, all seamlessly connected to 15 Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Heat Pump condenser units. In addition to their efficient design, our systems feature advanced control systems and occupancy sensors, which not only enhance operational efficiency but also reduce running costs. One of the standout features of this project is the installation of ‘Cooler classrooms controls’ complete with CO2 sensors. Our commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with the school’s vision of providing an environment conducive to learning, growth, and development for its students.

At Climax Air Conditioning, we are honored to have played a vital role in this project. We are committed to delivering innovative HVAC solutions that not only enhance comfort but also contribute to sustainable and inspiring learning environments.
