Project Overview

The Country Universities Centre (CUC) in Ulladulla opened its doors in November 2021.  As a dedicated learning and study space, the centre is available to all students in the region who are studying higher education at an Australian university or non-university higher education provider.   Giving access to a network of like-minded fellow students and a state-wide learning community.  The centre will provide students with high-speed internet, technology, academic support and study spaces.

Tasked with the electrical and mechanical packages Climax provided full decommissioning of the old redundant units and installation of the new equipment.  Our in-house engineers designed the air conditioning for the offices, lecture rooms and computer room using multi-head units.

The electrical fit out includes upgrades to the lighting, controls, power, data and communications.  Our extensive sub-contractor network allowed Climax to include the dry fire system under the same contract.

The client was able to cut down on contract administration by combining the mechanical and electrical packages with Climax. Saving time, money and the stress of multiple contractors.

The CUC project joins the list of projects where Climax have been able to combine mechanical and electrical packages like Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat and Southern Youth and Family Services.
